Great stuff

After reading too galore forums and reviews I settled on this over Dynamat and eDead and a few others, based on the positive reviews and cost per sq. foot. This stuff installed outstanding without adhesion problems, and the roller and knife from the kit worked astoundingly well.
Other guides and how-tos are utterly right in regards to application of this kinda stuff: warmer = better. I installed this in my 1973 Mustang in the middle of my driveway in early December in Maine. Used a portable ceramic heater to warm up the interior of the car, and kept the pieces once cut right in front of the heat factor for a little bit until it was nice and malleable. It adhered much better and was posing no difficulty to roll with resolute determination into place.
Installed two layers in prime areas like foot wells in front of the firewall. I could feel and listen a noteworthy divergence once the inside was done: warmer, quieter, and scaled down a lot of that metal ‘ping’ noise. Now it is more of a dull ‘thud’, which will have to translate to much less road noise and rattle.

great stuff

Used on maxima. 4 doors, rear shelf, wheel wells & floors. My CDT comp in front & coaxials in rear sound principally improved. Easy to use and very pliable. Good razor knife (provided with kit)
is all you need. A lot for less than Dynamat and works evenly as well. I have applied both and am a die-hard Fatmat fan. Get a great deal of and try.

Great product, great price!
Tried others… This 8mil fatmat is best bang for buck. It even comes with knife and roller! Does smell a little, but disappears in a few days.
